costavida — Our Journey

How Costa Vida Came to Life

Costa Vida was born from a simple idea: that the freshest coastal flavors deserve a permanent home in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. What started as a single passion project by founders Marco and Elena Reyes — a husband-and-wife duo who grew up spending summers on the coast — quickly became a beloved neighborhood destination.

The name costavida — meaning "coastal life" — captures everything we stand for: sun-drenched ingredients, laid-back warmth and meals made with genuine care. From day one, we've sourced our produce from local Texas farms, partnered with sustainable seafood suppliers, and built every recipe around real, recognizable ingredients you can actually pronounce.

Today, Costa Vida serves thousands of guests every month from our Fort Worth location, and our team of over 30 passionate food lovers continues to carry that founding spirit into every dish we send out the door.

Our Mission & Vision

Every dish we create and every guest we welcome reflects a deeper commitment to quality, community and the coastal spirit.

Our Mission

To bring the vibrant, nourishing flavors of coastal cuisine to everyday dining — making fresh, honest food accessible to every table in Fort Worth and beyond.

Our Vision

To become the most trusted coastal food brand in the United States — one where every guest leaves feeling genuinely cared for, satisfied and inspired to return.

Our Promise

Every ingredient is chosen with intention, every plate is prepared with pride, and every guest is treated like family — that's the Costa Vida promise.

Our Core Values

These principles guide every decision we make — from sourcing ingredients to hiring our team and serving our community.

Fresh & Honest

We use only real, recognizable ingredients. No artificial additives, no shortcuts — just honest food made from scratch daily.

Community First

Fort Worth is our home. We actively support local farmers, partner with community organizations and give back to the neighborhoods that built us.

Relentless Quality

Good enough is never enough. We taste, refine and perfect every recipe to ensure that every visit to Costa Vida exceeds expectations.

Sustainability

We're committed to responsible sourcing, reducing food waste and minimizing our environmental footprint — because a healthy coast needs a healthy planet.
